Full Moon Cacao Ceremony & Sound Healing

In collaboration with our Artist of Stems & Vines this month Athene Ceramics; we invite you to celebrate the season change of the darker evenings this upcoming Full Moon. 

Join us to partake in a Cacao Ceremony, focussing in on stillness of your breath and then fully relax into a Sound Healing practise. 

What to expect:

• We will prepare our space downstairs into warm peacefulness, there will be mats to allow you to sit or  lay down; there will be cushions and eye masks if you wish, but please wear comfortable layers & bring your favourite blanket.
• As part of the Cacao Ceremony, you will be invited to drink a ceremonial dose of cacao in an Athene Ceramics hand thrown cup, which you will be able to take home with you at the end of the evening. 
• Guided by Marisol, you will join in an active continuous breath-work practice designed to take your attention away from the noise of the mind and towards the sensations of the body.
• Jay will then create sound vibrations to move through the space — crystal bowls, resonance, stillness and intention creating room to slow down, reconnect and simply be.
• After the sound bath, there will be time and space to gather yourself before departing, we will have choice of hot teas and chilled water for refreshments.

Please note :

• the whole evening will take place DOWNSTAIRS in our lower ground wine bar space (the wine bar is not open on Mondays)
• we will start promptly at 8.15pm, the door will be closed and locked so as to not disturb the ceremony or sound bath. Please aim to arrive between 7.55-8.10pm.  We also have our Bookclub running from 7pm - 8pm, so do not worry if you arrive earlier still.
• our loo is on the ground floor, and there is space to change beforehand if you need.  As the front door will be locked, we will have space for belongings to be safely left up in the flower shop.
• this event is designed for adults, however well behaved teenagers 14yrs+ are allowed with an accompanying adult. As we will prepare a weaker dose of Cacao for them please let us know via email if you have made a booking for yourself & your teenager.
