Ikebana Inspired Autumnal Flower Arranging Workshop

As part of the celebration of our ARTIST OF STEMS & VINES this month: Athene Ceramics, we are hosting an Ikebana inspired workshop and are using their utterly gorgeous Pinch Pots as the vessels within which we will create. 

The Art of Japanese flower arranging, focuses on various techniques & placement of flowers that is guided by the space within which you are making the arrangement. It is a practise that really celebrates the less-is-more approach...but we'll put a Stems & Vines generous spin on that a little bit!

Using autumnal flowers we will create gorgeous centrepieces which will celebrate the colours, textures and shapes of the season - which you can take home and enjoy. 

What is included?

• Welcome Wine (or non-wine) & Bar Snacks throughout
• All Instruction, flower snips to borrow and flowers
  
• An Athene Ceramics Pinch Pot Bowl, to keep
• A Japanese Flower Holder, otherwise know as a Kenzan, to keep
• We will also give you a small amount of Floral-Tac, so that you can keep on creating your own arrangements at home

We will start the workshop at 7.15pm, and there will be about 60mins of detailed instruction & demonstration, and then you will have the remainder of the time to add to / amend or play with your floral arrangement. 

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners, but there is a age restrictions of 16yrs + due to the sharp nature of the tools we will be using.
