Open Mic Poetry Night — Tuesday 22nd September

As part of the Askew Road Arts Festival - join us and renowned professional poet, Georgie Jones for our first, Open Mic Poetry Night on Tuesday 22nd September at Stems and Vines.

PRE-Register to Perform your Poetry:  Whether you are an experienced orator, or you'd like to throw out a limerick omnibus to the room; this is your chance in a relaxed and intimate setting without too many people watching to give it go!

If you pre-register to perform, you get up to 5 minutes "on stage" and most importantly your ticket is FREE. 

Attend as the Audience:  If getting up in front of everyone isn't your cup of tea, but watching others whirl their tongues around a rhyme, a rhythm or just leave... space... for.... thoughts....... .   .    .

You are most welcome to buy yourself a seat as a member of the audience.  Loud & encouraging applause, whooping & hollering will no doubt be appreciated.

• Capacity: Limited to 35 guests
• Hosted by Georgie Jones, who will open & close our evening with her poetry and will have copies of her BEST SELLING book available to purchase on the night. 
• Price: £7 per person for those not on the set-list! 
• Time: Arrive from 8pm >>> Open Mic begins 8.30pm
• If you're on the fence...there will be some spare performance slots available on the night if you change your mind.
